Metal Roofover

Metal Roofover is a structural sub-framing system for metal over metal applications of pre-engineered and sloped roof buildings. The old roof remains in place avoiding interruption to business operations. The system is fully engineered to upgrade an existing roof to current wind load requirements supporting corner and edge wind zones that many existing building designs fail to address. Any of AEP Span’s structural panels may be utilized as the roof system.

Metal Roofover is assembled using four basic components.

• Minimum 16 gauge bridge hats
  
• Minimum 16 gauge bridge clips
  
• 16 gauge hat shaped galvanized purlins
  
• New exposed or concealed fastened metal roof panels
